My painting titled "Hardcore" refers to the spray paint brand as well as the attitude of "Urban" or "Street" artists I admire greatly.  These artists are hardcore, in that they paint every day knowing their work will often be painted over and destroyed within hours.  Banksy says, "People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible, and childish... but that's only if it's done properly."  And, I agree with Jorit Agoch who says, "The important thing is that each work is always guided by passion."  To me, street art is urban poetry and I think we need it for our souls.
